Mark Fonte

With over 35 years of experience, Mark Fonte is one of New York City’s top criminal defense attorneys. Mr. Fonte has tried well over 100 criminal cases. These include murders, attempted murders, robberies, narcotics cases, sex offenses, and an array of violent and non-violent felonies. Mr. Fonte firmly established himself in the top echelon of criminal attorneys after obtaining acquittals in back-to-back murder trials. He is well known throughout New York City and is considered the “go-to” attorney when facing criminal charges.

Mr. Fonte is a graduate of St. John’s University and attended Touro College School of Law, where he graduated cum laude and received the prestigious “Excellence in Trial Advocacy” award for his graduating class.

After Law School, Mr. Fonte worked as an Assistant District Attorney in the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office. There, he gained experience handling thousands of Misdemeanor and Felony cases. Mr. Fonte also gained valuable experience as a Student Law Clerk to the late Court of Appeals Justice Vito J. Titone.

Louis Gelormino

Louis Gelormino is a trusted trial attorney with a wealth of experience in both Criminal and Civil litigation. Raised on Staten Island, Mr. Gelormino is a proud alumnus of Monsignor Farrell High School. He later attended St. John’s University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree and then went on to graduate New York Law School. Following graduation, Mr. Gelormino embarked on a career in Finance and worked in Wall Street for 18 years. He was a member of the New York Stock Exchange and achieved success at every level of his career.

Embarking on a career in law was an easy transition for Mr. Gelormino. Determined to help his hometown, he quickly established himself as a trusted community activist and a strong voice for Staten Islanders everywhere. Mr. Gelormino is always eager to help those in need, and when the pandemic struck, he certainly was not found wanting. Mr. Gelormino, together with his partner Mark Fonte was in the forefront of helping small businesses open and filing class action lawsuits to open indoor dining in restaurants. Together Mark and Lou also brought class action lawsuits on behalf of thousands of teachers, police officers and firefighters who lost their jobs due to illegal vaccine mandates eventually taking the case all the way up to the United States Supreme Court. Not intimidated by the powers in Albany and City Hall, Lou, and Mark successfully challenged the overreach of the Mayor and Governor and, in doing so, established themselves as fighters for their clients both in and out of the courtroom.

Mr. Gelormino has a wealth of experience in the Criminal Law field and takes great pride in helping good people manage their most difficult times. He is also an experienced litigator that brings optimal settlements to those injured in workplace or motor vehicle accidents. Lou is a caring and compassionate advocate for his clients and relentlessly pursues the best possible outcome. He is an attorney who has earned the affirmation and trust of the community.

Continuing to give back to the community, Mr. Gelormino is actively involved in youth sports. He coaches Monsignor Farrell basketball and is active in the sporting community throughout Staten Island. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Criminal Justice at St. John’s University.
